MOUNT HOPE, W.Va. (LOOTPRESS) – On Saturday, March 26, Caleb Ellison, a Mercer County student, will give his senior music recital at Appalachian Bible College (ABC).
The recital, which will begin at 7 p.m., is given to fulfill the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Bible and Theology and Music ministry.
Ellison will conduct the Chorale and will also present vocal selection. He says he is most looking forward to sharing “Prayer to Jehovah.”
“The text comes from a timeless hymn and it reminds all believers that even though you will go through hard times, God will be with you through all of them,” he shared. “At my recital, I hope that people get to see what I have been learning: not just pursuing musical excellence but most importantly, God’s glory.”
According to ABC, Ellison will return in the fall for a fifth year with the college. Afterward, he plans to teach and compose music in full-time ministry.
The public is invited to attend the recital on Saturday. It will be held in Anderson Hall on ABC’s campus in Bradley.
