Michael Stephen Cordle, 69, of Stafford Drive, Princeton died Friday, August 6, 2021, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born August 17, 1951, in Bluefield, he was the son of the late Marvin J. Cordle and Margaret Elizabeth Bell Cordle. Michael was a 1970 graduate of Matoaka High School. He served his country proudly with the U.S. Army obtaining the rank of SGT. Michael was a carpenter by trade and loved riding his motorcycle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Diana “Sunshine” Thornton. Survivors include his three siblings, Marie “Cookie” Thornton, Andy Cordle and wife Deborah, Tammy Tiller and companion John Purdy. The family has honored Mr. Cordle’s request, he has been cremated and their will be no services. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com.
