MONONGALIA COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On April 28, 2023, at approximately 7:26 pm, Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office Deputies received a call regarding a possible unaccompanied juvenile male in the area of Venture Drive behind Michaels.
Deputies searched the area and did not locate anyone. Through video footage, it was confirmed that there was a younger white male that left Michaels unaccompanied at approximately 6:55 PM and matched the caller’s description.
The male was seen wearing a black shirt with a white graphic, grey sweatpants, and medium-length brown hair.
Monongalia County Emergency Management Agency and Marion County Emergency Management were contacted and drone searches were conducted of the surrounding area.
Deputies also conducted a search of the wooded area around Glenmark Center and Cheat Road in an attempt to locate this individual. Morgantown Police Department also assisted with drone operation.
At this time, deputies have not received any report of a missing juvenile. If you witnessed an unaccompanied male in the area of Venture Drive around this time or have any further information, please contact the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office at 304-291-7260.
