UPDATE: AUGUSTA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Tuesday afternoon announcement from Mountaineer Food Bank indicates a change in this week’s distribution schedule for the Mobile Food Pantry.
Following Tuesday’s stops in Preston and Kanawha Counties, and a scheduled stop in Pocahontas County on Wednesday, the Mobile Food Pantry was set to visit Hampshire County for distribution at the Hope Christian Church, an event open exclusively to Hampshire County residents.
It was announced Tuesday however that, due to anticipated weather conditions in the area, distribution would not occur as originally planned and has been rescheduled.
“Due to impending freezing rain in Augusta, West Virginia, we have cancelled our Mobile Food Pantry in Hampshire County on Thursday, December 15th,” read the announcement.
Fortunately for residents of Hampshire County, the distribution date has already seen rescheduling and will occur next week at the original planned location.
“[We] have rescheduled the distribution for Monday, December 19th at Hope Christian Church from 11am-12:30pm. Thank you for understanding,” concluded the announcement.

12/13/22- Preston County: Civic Center
12/13/22- Kanawha County: Belle Church of the Nazarene
12/14/22- Pocahontas County: BFD Fire and Rescue Squad
12/15/22- Barbour County: Fairgrounds
12/17/22- Boone County: Amazing Grace Fellowship
12/17/22- Clay County: Lizemore Elementary School (This mobile is from 9am-11am. Clay County Residents only)

WEST VIRGINIA ( LOOTPRESS) – The Mountaineer Food Bank has released the upcoming week’s schedule for its Mobile Food Pantry.Â
Stops in Preston, Kanawha, and Pocahontas Counties will be among those included in this week’s distribution schedule, which can be seen below. All distributions are scheduled to take place from 11:00am to 12:30pm unless otherwise noted.Â
