Legendary professional wrestler and color commentator Jerry “The King” Lawler made a stop in the Mountain State over the weekend to meet and interact with local fans.
One of the most recognizable, beloved, and decorated figures in the history of professional wrestling, Jerry “The King” Lawler has won an astonishing 168 championships since his 1970 in-ring debut. During the famed “Attitude Era” of WWE (then WWF) wrestling, “The King” brought his talents to the announcers’ table alongside legendary commentator Jim Ross, with whom he formed what has perhaps become the most beloved commentating partnership in the history of the business.
During his time at RetroReset Video Games and Collectibles’ Oak Hill location, Lawler chatted with fans, posed for photos, and signed autographs while ensuring that each and every attendee was afforded adequate facetime for an experience to remember.
Lawler’s appearance followed that of another WWE legend, Jimmy “Mouth of the South” Hart, and would precede an extensive lineup of special guests at RetroReset to come in subsequent months.
