PELHAM, NC (LOOTPRESS) – Dwane Massenburg returns to the publishing scene with the release of “Why America Needs to Repent” (published by WestBow Press). Using the Bible as a base for discussion, this spirituality book explores the subject of repentance — what it means and why America should practice it.
“Why America Needs to Repent” is a one-on-one, face-to-face conversation with God. It is an analysis of 40 specific topics that deserve a true conversation for all those that claim to believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The book lays bare the reality that America is not an omnipotent, invincible island destined to be in power forever. Individuals must play his or her part to change the society, one person at a time.
“This book is applied Christianity,” the author states. “It describes how we can take Christianity off the pages of the Bible and apply them to our everyday life.”
Full of biblical references and personal testimonies, “Why America Needs to Repent” presents Christianity as a solution to America’s problems rather than a religion. It is designed as a teaching tool and is formatted with bullet points, tables, charts, and call-out passages. A separate workbook is also available.
