RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – As work continues to restore full-service water utilities throughout Raleigh County, water distribution events remain recurring to assist those who remain without water.
A Saturday statement from Beckley Water Company indicates that facilities have been operating around the clock to ensure optimal water production in the face of the ongoing shortage.
“Both water plants are operating 24-hours daily to maximize production,” read the statement. “Currently, the Beckley Water Company system is gaining slowly which indicates there remains substantial usage above normal levels. Please notify us if your residence or business location is in need of assistance as well as any apparent leaks along roadways or ditches.”
