BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The New River Gorge Regional Development Authority will be offering a Construction Outreach Training Program later this month.
The Construction Outreach Training Program will introduce employees to the basic practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating, and reporting hazards associated with their work.
Training will cover a broad range of topics, including lockout/tagout, noise, machine guarding, hazard communication, personal protective equipment, walking and working surfaces and electrical safety.
Participants who successfully attend 10-hours of education will receive their 10-Hour Construction Card. Lunch and light refreshments will also be provided.
The program will be open to businesses and individuals in the counties of Fayette, Raleigh, Summers, Nicholas, Webster, Pocahontas, Greenbrier, Monroe, Mercer, Wyoming, McDowell, Mingo, and Logan.
The training will take place May 24th and 25th at Historic Black Knight Municipal Park
located at 2400 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV.
