FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Oak Hill man is facing felony charges in Fayette County. Sheriff Mike Fridley provides the following information regarding this incident.
This morning, February 3, 2024, while on routine patrol in the Hilltop area, deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for a minor traffic violation. During the stop, deputies learned the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. Further investigation led to deputies discovering a large amount of narcotics believed to be Methamphetamines.
Malaquais Wallace, 49 of Oak Hill, was charged with the felony offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver, the misdemeanor offenses of Driving While License Suspended, and No Seatbelt. Wallace was arraigned and released on bond.
