COOL RIDGE, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) – Okes Family Farms celebrated the grand opening of its 2021 season on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Okes Family Farms is a pick your own pumpkin patch located in Cool Ridge, West Virginia. With a five-acre corn maze, giant spider web, 150-foot water slides, a barrel train, corn cannon, slingshots, and plenty of farm animals to see, Okes Family Farm has fun for everyone.
According to owner Jennnifer Okes, opening day was a great success filled with lots of new, as well as familiar faces.
“We were surprised at how many people come out so early in the season,” she said. “It’s truly a joy to have people come to the farm. For many, it has become a tradition! We love seeing familiar faces come to the farm and watch their children grow. New faces are always exciting; they become friends as well! We love catching up with folks each fall!”
This year, Okes Family Farm will be open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays until the end of October.
Admission is $10 and does not include the price of pumpkins or other treats. Children four years old and younger may enjoy the farm for free, and a family four-pack is available for $30. The farm only accepts cash or check at this time.
