MONONGALIA COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One person was extricated from a vehicle following a rollover on Sunday.
According to the Morgantown Fire Department (MFD), on July 7, 2024, MFD Engine 2 and Ladder 1 were dispatched to a vehicle accident on Interstate 68 at the Exit 4 overpass in Monongalia County.
The incident involved a rollover with one person trapped inside the vehicle.
Emergency responders worked efficiently to extricate the individual and handed them over to medical crews for further treatment.
During the rescue operation, Interstate 68 was temporarily closed to ensure the safety of all involved.
The highway was reopened once all hazards were cleared from the scene.
