Cornwall, United Kingdom (Lootpress) – President Biden has embarked on his first trip overseas as the 46th President of the United States. The annual G7 summit with world leaders kicked off on June 11th in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Heads of State from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, and Japan gathered to discuss global issues.
According to the official G7 Summit website, leaders met to discuss the following issues; “leading the global recovery from the coronavirus while strengthening resilience against future pandemics, promoting future prosperity by championing free and fair trade, tackling climate change and preserving the planet’s biodiversity, and championing global shared values.”
In addition to this event, President Biden is currently meeting with NATO allies from across the world. Video of President Biden slowly walking behind every other world leader has circulated social media, with some folks drawing stark contrasts between Biden and former President Trump. One might recall the infamous video clip of President Trump reaching around a world leader and briskly pulling himself to the front of the pack.
There certainly seems to be a different style of “leadership” under President Biden.
President Biden has repeatedly said he will “get in trouble” if he answers questions from reporters not on his pre-arranged list. This begs the question, “Who does President Biden answer to?” Not only is this unprofessional in the company of heads of state from across the globe, but it is utterly humiliating to millions of Americans who value the United States’ role in world leadership.
In a series of what appeared to be memory lapses, Biden forgot what he was saying in front of world leaders for nearly a minute, rambling incoherently to the point of concern on the faces of those in the room. Furthermore, after announcing he would not be having a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Biden stumbled when asked if Putin is a “killer” as President Biden had stated in a previous interview. Staring in silence, apparently trying to muster a coherent sentence, Biden quit speaking entirely for almost fifteen seconds. Once again showing extreme nervousness when questioned about Russia, a confused Joe Biden called Syria, ‘Libya’, three times in less than one minute.
In addition, the President ignored questions from the press at the conclusion of a roundtable meeting with Turkish leaders, while staff quickly rushed them away. One reporter said, “We didn’t hear you, sir?” Biden replied, “That’s because I didn’t say anything,” Biden barked back.
In one of his oddest moments yet, Biden said, “A lot of folks don’t know what COVID is!” What on earth could he possibly be talking about?
As if Biden’s first trip wasn’t already enough of a disaster, Vice President Kamala Harris also took her first foreign trip as Vice President. Harris visited Guatemala and Mexico, tasked by President Biden to study the ‘root causes’ of migration from Central America to the United States amid a 21-year high surge of migrants crossing the southern border illegally.
In an interview with Lester Holt, Harris was questioned about her absence at the southern border while border crossings are at a 21-year high. Holt asked, “Do you have any plans to visit the border?”
Harris, throwing up her hands and rolling her eyes replies, “At some point, you know, we are going to the border. We’ve been to the border. So, this whole-this whole thing about the border, we’ve been to the border. We’ve been to the border.”
Holt interjects by saying, “You haven’t been to the border.”
Harris stumbles and eventually says, “And I haven’t been to Europe,” followed by her hysterical laughter, “I don’t understand the point you are making.”
The Vice President was once again when asked by a reporter if she had plans to visit the border.
“So why not go to the border as well so you do see the full complexity..” Interrupted by Harris, the reporter is unable to finish his question. Harris said, “Listen-I’ve been to the border before, and I will go again. But when I’m in Guatemala, dealing with root causes, I think we should have a conversation about what is going on in Guatemala.”
The incompetency of this administration is on full display for the America people to see each day.
