Peggy Jean Fincher, 76, of Scarbro passed away on August 27, 2023, at her home.
She was born on November 23, 1946, in Hopewell, WV; she was the daughter of the late Charles Barton and Lorena Neal Barton.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William Fincher, brothers, Robert Barton and William Barton.
Peggy was a member of the Graydon Baptist Church. She was a coffee drinker, loved watching birds and she loved her dog. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Samantha (Grant) Hoover; son, William C. Fincher; grandchildren, Sydnee, Addie, Bella, Kaylee, Austin and Asher; sister, Mary Wysong; nieces and nephews and their families, Lori (Joe), Chuck (Melanie) Emma, C.J., Jenna and Avery; sister-in-law, Linda; special friends, Thersa Harrell and Cathy Hamler, Susie and David; her dog, Buddy; extended family and friends.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and no service.
