HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Cabell County woman is facing a misdemeanor battery charge following an alleged altercation at a Huntington bar.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court, Morgan Rose Watterson is accused of striking another woman in the face during an incident that occurred around 10:30 p.m. on March 14, 2026.
Authorities say the incident took place at Jerk Riley’s, located in Pullman Square. The victim, identified as Skylar Radcliffe, reportedly suffered physical contact described as capable of causing pain or injury.
Investigators state that Watterson admitted to hitting the victim, citing past issues between the two as the reason for the confrontation.
The charge falls under West Virginia Code 61-2-9(c), which defines battery as intentionally making physical contact that causes pain or injury to another person.
A magistrate has found probable cause in the case, and a warrant has been issued for Watterson’s arrest.
The case remains pending in Cabell County Magistrate Court.
