RALEIGH COUNTY, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) – During Tuesday’s regular Raleigh County Commission Meeting, President Dave Tolliver gave a quick update on the White Oak Water Project. The project is working to give public water to all of Raleigh County.
The update was given after commissioners approved an AML Pilot Drawdown for the project in the amount of $13,789.50.
According to Tolliver, this is one of the last facets of the water project, which takes public water to the Summers County line.
“When this is done, almost all of Raleigh County will be covered under public water,” he said. “It’s great.”
Tolliver expects dirt to turn this fall and the project’s completion date is set for the latter part of 2022.
