BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Several Raleigh County government offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, due to inclement weather predicted over the weekend, according to the Raleigh County Commission.
Officials said the closures are being implemented as a precaution to ensure the safety of county employees and the public amid the expected weather conditions.

The offices scheduled to be closed include the Raleigh County Commission and Courthouse, Raleigh County Code Enforcement, the Raleigh County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the Raleigh County Judicial Annex, and the Raleigh County Day Report Center.
The closure was authorized by Greg Duckworth, president of the Raleigh County Commission, and the Honorable Judge Todd Kirby.
County officials said updates regarding reopening or additional closures will be provided if weather conditions change.
