RICHWOOD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – After a successful real estate career in North Carolina, Cindy Ayouch has returned to West Virginia and joined RE/MAX Lifestyle Realty, bringing years of financial experience and a commitment to community involvement to the Richwood area.
Ayouch previously worked with RE/MAX Executive in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her return to the Mountain State reflects long-standing family ties and childhood memories of visiting relatives in West Virginia.
Her mother was born and raised near Sam Black Church, and Ayouch said trips to visit family, including her grandfather and cousins, were a regular part of her upbringing.
“When you come back as an adult, you see it in a completely new light,” Ayouch said. “It really reignited my love for West Virginia.”
Ayouch said she looks forward to reconnecting with the Richwood community after years away. She decided to relocate after her youngest of two sons left for college.
Before entering real estate, Ayouch worked at the Federal Reserve, where she said networking and working with people became one of the most rewarding parts of her career.
“Real estate allows me to build connections while helping people through important life decisions,” she said.
In addition to her professional background, Ayouch has spent more than a decade supporting survivors of domestic violence through churches and nonprofit organizations. She currently leads a weekly online support group for women and works with the nonprofit “Shine a Light on Domestic Violence.”
She also participates in the RE/MAX Miracle Agent program with Children’s Miracle Network, donating a portion of her commission from each property sold to support children and families in West Virginia.
Ayouch said she hopes to contribute to the continued development of Richwood and the surrounding region.
“Richwood has so much potential,” she said. “I want to be part of bringing investment back to the area, helping people buy and sell, and inspiring people about our unique area.”
Having previously lived in several major cities including Richmond, Atlanta and Washington, D.C., Ayouch said those experiences help her assist clients who may be considering relocating to West Virginia.
RE/MAX Lifestyle Realty is based in Caldwell, West Virginia. Broker and owner Alinda Perrine, who was born in Richwood, said the expansion into Nicholas County is an important step for the company.
“My fondest memories are family picnics at Woodbine, the Cherry River Navy Festival in downtown Richwood, and hikes into Cranberry,” Perrine said. “I’m excited as a broker to expand RE/MAX Lifestyle Realty to Richwood and Nicholas County. Cindy will bring a presence and energy to this area at a time when West Virginia is blossoming in real estate.”
A welcome event for Ayouch will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. March 14 at the Oakford Diner in Richwood. The public is invited to attend and enjoy complimentary hot dogs and ice cream floats while learning more about buying or selling property in the area.
