WOOD COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The northbound lane of Interstate 77 at mile marker 162 has been shut down Saturday evening following a single-vehicle rollover crash, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident, reported just before 7 p.m. on December 6, involved a passenger vehicle.
Authorities said the injured person is believed to be the driver. A life flight was requested to transport the individual for medical treatment.
No additional details about the driver’s condition or the cause of the crash have been released.
The road remains closed as emergency crews respond at the scene.
