HINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Hinton residents have been in suspense ever since the announcement came that a Rose’s Discount Store would be going into the old Magic Mart location on Stokes Drive.
After months of work and preparation, the days of waiting are over as Rose’s officially opened this morning at 9 AM. A building that has sat vacant since Magic Mart left town will now be home to a business that will serve the residents of Hinton and surrounding areas seven days a week.
The opening day was a success as the store and parking lot were full and customers were happily shopping throughout the store with their carts and baskets full of items.
This morning, Hinton Mayor Jack Scott and the City Council congratulated Rose’s on their opening day and announced that an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new store will be held on Thursday, December 1st. More details on the ribbon cutting will be released soon.
Rose’s in Hinton is open Monday-Saturday 9 AM-8 PM, and 10 AM-8 PM on Sundays.
Rose’s also has locations in Princeton and Bluefield.
