CASS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – In an exciting announcement received earlier today, it has been confirmed that Santa Claus will be returning to the picturesque Cass Scenic Railroad State Park this year.
The news comes directly from the North Pole, as Mr. Claus expressed his anticipation for revisiting the park after a memorable visit last year.
The highly anticipated steam-powered journey will commence from the Cass depot, taking passengers on a delightful ride along the scenic Greenbrier River. The enchanting excursion is estimated to last between 75 to 90 minutes and will feature beautifully decorated and heated coaches.
Additionally, a limited number of seats will be available inside the historic Chesapeake & Ohio caboose located at the rear of the train, providing a unique and nostalgic experience.
Children participating in this magical journey will be in for a treat, as each one will receive a special surprise gift during the ride. The cost of the ticket includes this thoughtful gesture, ensuring that every child’s experience is truly memorable.
In addition to the Santa Claus train rides, the Cass Scenic Railroad State Park and Friends of Cass have planned a range of activities and events throughout the weekends.

Departures for the Santa Claus train rides will commence on December 1st, offering multiple departure times to accommodate various schedules. The departure times are as follows:
- Wednesday & Thursday: 3pm
- Friday: 1pm & 3pm
- Saturday: 11am, 1pm & 3pm
- Sunday: 11am & 1pm
