PINEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department announced on Monday in a joint press release with Pineville Police Department an upcoming seatbelt checkpoint to be conducted along Route 10.
The checkpoint was announced as a tool to help educate motorists in seatbelt safety, and will be held on Monday, May 30, 2022 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
The former Board of Education in Pineville along WV Route 10 will serve as the location for the checkpoint.
“Both departments would like to thank the Coalfields Highway Safety Program for the opportunity,” reads the statement, which is adorned with the signatures of both Pineville Police Chief Z. Helmandollar and Wyoming County Sheriff B.G. Ellison.
