BEVERLY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A motor vehicle accident prompted the dispatch of emergency services Saturday when a truck was driven into a ditch line.
According to Deputy L. Elbon of the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on March 18, 2023, Deputy Elbon, Cpt R. Swisher, and Sr. Deputy A. Beverly responded to King’s Run Road in the Beverly area of Randolph County in regard to reports of a single vehicle MVA.
Upon arrival at the scene, a Chevrolet Silverado truck which was maroon in color could be observed having gone off the roadway and into a nearby ditch line.
Deputy Elbon made contact with the driver of the vehicle – identified as Valery Rowan – who complained of leg and back pain, and was subsequently placed in a C Collar and transported to Davis Medical Center to receive further evaluation from the Randolph County Emergency Squad.
The Beverly Fire Department also provided assistance on the scene, and no additional injuries were incurred as a result of the accident.
