OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Starlite Drive-In announced the movie lineup for the upcoming weekend on Tuesday.
The Oak Hill startup has amassed a substantial following in the weeks since its establishment, and new amenities to the venue continue to be introduced – more on that here.
One such amenity, a new swing set which can accommodate three people, was revealed over the weeknd.
Tuesday, the location announced the films which would be playing during the upcoming weekend, which will comprise Thursday, the 28th through Saturday, the 30th.
Thursday will see the Starlite premier of the animated superhero comedy, DC League of Super-Pets, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart.
Also playing will be the biographical musical drama Elvis, starring Austin Butler as the titular King of Rock & Roll, and Tom Hanks as the influential and controversial Colonel Tom Parker.
Along with radio rentals and the aforementioned addition of a swing set, Starlite also recently unveiled the Little Dipper food truck, which offers options outside those available through the standard concession stand.
The cash-only truck offers cotton candy, philly cheesesteaks, funnel cakes, and much more, and comes along with the announcement of corn hole sets also being made available to pass time before movie showings.
Movies begin at dusk – around 9:00pm – and gates will open at 6:00pm.
Admission is $8 per guest – cash only – with children 5 and under granted free admission.
For those without functioning car radios, or those who would simply prefer a portable radio for the viewing experience, may rent a radio at the tent by the concession area. Radios are in limited supply and rentals are cash only, though concession items can be purchased with card or cash.
