WESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Featuring its largest fireworks display ever and offering activities for kids and adults alike throughout the weekend – including a special “Brew Cruise”, evening dance parties, and daily lawn games and events – Stonewall Resort will host an end of summer bash this Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, Sept. 4 through Monday, Sept. 6.
“Interest in travel, experiencing outdoor adventure and reconnecting with family and friends is at an all-time high,” said Andre’ D’Amour, general manager at Stonewall Resort. “Our Labor Day Weekend celebration is designed to exceed those expectations and provide as much, or as little, activity and recreation as our guests desire.”
Featured activities include the annual end of summer fireworks display on Sunday night, Sept. 5. Expanded in scope and size, this will be the largest fireworks display the resort has ever offered.
On Saturday, Sept. 4, the resort will host a Brew Cruise aboard the resort’s 100-passenger excursion boat offering unique craft beers and snacks as guests enjoy a relaxing and scenic tour of the lake. The event is open to those age 21 or older.
Following the cruise on Saturday, and offered on Sunday evening as well, guests will enjoy an evening outdoor dance party on the Stillwater’s Patio featuring DJ Connect. Open to all ages, guests can also choose to roast s’mores around the fire pit or sample special homemade blackberry cobbler or signature blackberry cocktails.
Throughout the weekend, the resort will offer a variety of activities for children and families including daily lawn games, wildlife exhibit, bounce house, painting classes, ice cream social and an outdoor movie poolside, to name a few. The Stonewall Outfitters Pass provides access to bikes, kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddle boards.
Guests can relax by the resort’s outdoor pool, complete with cash bar and a hotdog stand, play golf at the Palmer Course, or enjoy fishing or boating on the scenic and expansive lake. Bistro dining will be offered on the patio outside Stillwaters Restaurant throughout the weekend.
