Susie May Legg Rowe, age 86, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Hidden Valley Nursing Home.
Born on November 16, 1935, at Maple Fork, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Legg and Audrey Workman Legg.
Mrs. Rowe was a lifelong devout member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Oak Hill, WV, and Beckley, WV. She was loved by many, with her loving and giving nature. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Rowe in 2001, and by fourteen brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her only living sister, Bonnie Tutor of Maryland; step children, Gloria Jean Rowe (Steve) of Orlando, FL, Jeff Rowe of Chengdu, China, and David Rowe (Connie) of Fayetteville, WV. Grandchildren: Shannon Allen (Steve) of Oviedo, FL, Tara Girghi (Pete) of Orlando, FL, Stephanie Rowe (Zachary) of Casseberry, FL, Victoria Rowe (Brett) of Pensacola, FL, Jessica Riser (Troy) of Seattle, WA, Leslie Galluzzo (Charles) of Clifton, NY, and Lacy Rowe (James) of Kissimmee, FL. Great grandchildren: Jonathon Nichols, Justin Nichols, Conner Allen, Cameron Allen, Avery Ghirghi, Nicholas Ghirghi, Clementine Thomason, Lorelei Thomason, Juniper Briggs, Trevor Galluzo, Nicholas Galluzo, Paige Galluzo, Jenna Powers, Olivia Powers, and Jordan Murdock. One great-great grandchild, Noah Lovejoy.
