Mrs. Billings was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower garden, mowing grass and raking leaves. She liked to do crafts and making things with her hands.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Billings in 1976; one son, Jerry Billings; one sister, Gilsea Sloane and husband Russell; two brothers, Marvin Lusk and wife Barbara and Joe Lusk and wife Diane; one son-in-law, Eanon Mills; brother-in-law, Nathaniel “Buddy” Billings; and sisters-in-law, Roberta Hartwell and husband Michael and Coleen Agnew.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Basham and husband Terry of Lashmeet, Frances Mills of Lashmeet and Teresa Diane Thomason and husband Richard of Bluefield; daughter-in-law, Diana Fuda Billings of Princeton; one sister, Lillian Lusk of Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Sadler and husband John of Maryland and Barbara Billings of Matoaka; eight grandchildren, Leah, Tera, Dana, Shawn, Jennifer, Tina, Ereka and Jason; 15 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her cat, Purdy, that was with her for 12 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Kelly Lyle officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
