Thief in clown mask apprehended in Hinton area after breaking & entering

HINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A thief donning a clown mask was arrested Wednesday in the Hinton area following reports of a burglary in progress.

According to the Summers County Sheriff’s Department, Chief Deputy T.S Adkins received a call at 5:00am on Wednesday, October 12th to respond to a burglary in progress by a subject wearing a clown mask.

Despite the subject having vacated the area by the time of Deputy Adkins’ arrival, Deputy Adkins was able to locate the subject in an alleyway several blocks from the scene.

All of the victims’ stolen property was successfully recovered and the subject, identified as Robert Dean Thomas, 26 of Hinton, was arrested for Breaking and Entering, Grand Larceny, and Destruction of Property.
