WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Thousands of West Virginia residents are without electricity Monday evening as scattered power outages continued across the state, according to data from PowerOutage.com.
As of Monday evening, approximately 3,720 customers were reported without power statewide.
The outages come amid high winds across the state.
The outages were spread across multiple counties, with no single area experiencing a large-scale outage, but several counties reporting hundreds of customers affected.
Cabell County reported the highest number of outages, with about 670 customers without electricity. Pendleton Countyfollowed closely with 584 outages, while Mineral County had 440 customersaffected.
Additional outages were reported in Webster County with 362, Marshall County with 343, and Grant County with 168 customers without power.
Smaller numbers of outages were also recorded in Calhoun County, where 158 customers were without service, and Berkeley County, which reported 131 outages.
