HARRISON COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An early head-on collision in Harrison County on Wednesday sent four people to the hospital, including three children.
According to the Nutter Fort Fire Department, at around 7:46 AM on Wednesday, March 29, Nutter Fort FD was alerted for a Vehicle Accident with Injuries on South Bypass Road (Rt. 98) near McDonald’s.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a 3-vehicle head-on type collision with heavy damage and the roadway blocked. There was determined to be negative entrapment with 4 patients that had to be sent to the hospital including 3 children.
The condition of the individual’s injuries is unknown. The accident was cleaned up and the road re-opened about an hour following the incident.
