SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Harley-Davidson of WV will host a cornhole tournament November 13th at their South Charleston location.
The aptly titled event will donate all proceeds garnered to Children’s Home Society of West Virginia, a private, non-profit child welfare agency which has designated the earnings for the purchase of luggage which will go to children in foster care.
Foster children removed from homes often do not have sufficient time to gather their belongings, and seldom have access to adequate materials in which to transport those belongings, leaving many children no recourse but to transport all that they own in disposable trash bags. Event organizers seek to ease the burden on both foster children and foster families who are routinely faced with these difficult situations.
Registration will occur from 9am to 10am the day of the competition, and will cost $20 per participating team. The tournament itself will begin at 11am following registration, and a $50 cash prize will be awarded to the winning team, along with a curated Harley-Davidson of WV gift basket.
Harley-Davidson of WV’s Kawasaki Showroom at 4924 Maccorkle Avenue SW, South Charleston will serve as the venue for the event, which will also offer a $5 hotdog lunch for those in attendance. Both street and lot parking will be available.
More information on the event can be obtained by calling (304) 768-1600 or accessing the Harley-Davidson of WV and Children’s Home Society Facebook pages at https://facebook.com/HDofWV/ and https://facebook.com/chsofwv/, respectively.
