MILTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A truck hauling hay caught fire on I-64 resulting in the interstate closing for hours.
According to the Milton Police Department (MPD), I-64 westbound was closed yesterday at mile marker 30 in Cabell County due to a trailer load of hay that caught on fire.
Milton and Hurricane Fire Departments responded to extinguish the blaze that caused about a three-hour closure.
The MPD says the fire occurred during the early afternoon. The driver unhitched the wagon and pulled his truck out of danger, no injuries were reported in the incident.
