WAYNE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two West Virginia drug suspects have been arrested.
According to Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson, two drug suspects were arrested in the Wayne area after a joint operation with the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit and Violent Crime and Drug Task Force West.
Sheriff Thompson stated that the Wayne County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic stop on Mark ‘aka Jeff’ Hale and Mark Hale on East Lynn Road.
Mark was placed under arrest for a warrant for the Delivery of a Controlled Substance that originated from an investigation by the Violent Crime and Drug Task Force West.
Jeff Hale was arrested for a warrant for Grand Larceny of a vehicle.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit seized Methamphetamine and Fentanyl from the vehicle along with several thousand dollars of US Currency.
Jeff is additionally charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver – Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver- Fentanyl, Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl, and Pseudoephedrine Altered.
Mark is also charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver- Fentanyl and Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl.
Jeff Hale is currently at Western Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond. Mark Hale is currently at Western Regional Jail on a $30,000 bond.
