BEVERLY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A search warrant was executed on Monday in relation to methamphetamine sales from a residence in Randolph County.
Sheriff Elbon of the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office reports that at approximately 12:30pm on Monday, May 8, 2023, a search warrant was executed by the Mountain Region Drug Task Force along with members of the West Virginia State Police and Randolph County Sheriff’s Office at the Beverly residence of Edward Matthew Wiseman.
The search followed a series of controlled purchases from Wiseman conducted by authorities over the course of two months.
The search itself yielded five grams of methamphetamine, two firearms, and over $4500 in U.S. currency, all of which were discovered within Wiseman’s residence during the execution of the warrant.
Wiseman, who is prohibited from legally possessing firearms, was arrested at the scene on Monday. The case remains under investigation and additional charges are reportedly pending in relation.
