UPDATE: RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The human remains found in Raleigh County have been identified.
According to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department, the remains are of William Dustin Bowen. Bowen was reported missing in July and was last seen on July 7th in the Flat Top area.
Currently, a cause of death was not available.

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An investigation is underway after human remains were found in Raleigh County.
West Virginia State Police spokesman Captain Maddy tells LOOTPRESS that the human skeletal remains were found in Rhodell on land owned by Pocahontas Coal Company, off a dirt path of Tommy Creek Road.
Madden says the remains could not be identified and have been sent off. No foul play is suspected.
