UPDATE: RUPERT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Thursday, July 15, 2021, at approximately 9:52 am, Cpl J.W. Gilkeson received a tip that the male suspect was seen in the Princeton Wal Mart.
With the assistance of the Princeton Detachment of the West Virginia State Police and Wal Mart Loss Prevention, the male was identified as Gary Toler, 65 of Oceana, WV. It was also discovered that Mr. Toler was traveling in maroon in color Pontiac Montana van with a female.
A short time later, a member of the Princeton Police Department located the van. Both Gary Toler and the female were taken into custody for questioning.
Gary Lee Toler has been charged with armed robbery and grand larceny. Gary Toler is awaiting arraignment in Southern Regional Jail. The female has not been charged at this time.
The status of this investigation remains ongoing and active.

RUPERT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – State Police are currently on the scene of a bank robbery at Summit Community Bank in Rupert.
According to authorities, a man robbed the bank and took an undisclosed amount of cash. The incident happened at 12:15 pm, and the suspect is still on the loose.
WV State Police, Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, and Rupert Police are investigating.
