UPDATE: December 8, 2022, at 10:30 p.m. “AREDITH THOMPSON was taken into custody without incident by Beckley Police Department Detectives and officers on Grant Street at approximately 10:25 p.m.
Thompson will be taken to the Southern Regional Jail following processing at the Beckley Police Department.

BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Beckley Police Department is searching for a murder suspect.
The Beckley Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating twenty-nine-year-old, AREDITH LYNAEA THOMPSON, (a.k.a. “NayNay”) of Beckley, wanted in connection with the shooting death of Juwan Greer that occurred on November 23, 2022, at 105 ½ Truman Avenue.
A warrant for her arrest on the charge of First-Degree Murder was issued on December 7, 2022.
