RONCEVERTE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Ronceverte has advised that a scheduled water outage will take effect for the Summers & Tonaluka area of Ronceverte beginning 7:00 Thursday morning.
The scheduled outage comes as a result of a fire hydrant installation which is set to take place on Thursday.
Though installation should be complete and water service should be restored by the end of Thursday, the City of Ronceverte has advised that the Summers & Tonaluka area will be under a Boil Water Advisory pending the results of water testing to ensure safety for public use.
This isn’t the only equipment maintenance set to take place in Greenbrier County this week, as it was announced Tuesday by the City of Lewisburg that an electrical upgrade will lead to temporary loss of functionality for traffic lights at the junction of US 219 and US 60 – more on that here.
Lewisburg City Officers will be stationed at the intersection in an effort to minimize disruption of traffic flow and expedite travel.
The effects of the upgrade are expected to be seen on Friday, June 24, 2022 and Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Lewisburg City Hall will also be closed on Friday, June 24, 2022 for an electrical upgrade.
