According to investigators, Knight approached a vehicle parked in the lot where three 18-year-olds — Jairan Gandee, Devon Forshey, and Bradi Florence — were sitting inside.
After a brief verbal exchange, Knight allegedly fired multiple rounds into the passenger side of the vehicle, striking Forshey and Florence.
The victims drove away and reached a safe location about one block away on Pennsylvania Avenue, where police responded.
Officers identified Knight as a suspect and broadcast a description of the vehicle he was believed to be driving.
Authorities say that within six minutes of the initial 911 call, officers located the vehicle in the 800 block of Neal Street. Knight was detained during a traffic stop and taken into custody.
Knight was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court, where his bond was set at $900,000. He did not post bond and was remanded to the Wood County Holding Facility, pending transport to North Central Regional Jail.
Forshey and Florence are being treated for their injuries at Camden Clark Medical Center. Police say the investigation remains active, and additional information may be released.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
