LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man claiming that he was stabbed in the eyes by EMS or bitten by a snake and that whiskey was for his men and the beer was for his horses is arrested.
According to troopers, police responded to an intoxicated man in the roadway of Logan County. When police arrived, they found Steven Samson, 31, of Champanville, in the middle of Mill Creek Road. Several people had called 911 and stated that Samson was obstructing traffic and under the influence of a controlled substance.
Officers made contact with Samson, who was staggering in the roadway with no shoes on, drenched in sweat. Samson said he was stabbed in the eyes by EMS or bitten by a snake. He also said the whiskey was for his men, and the beer was for his horses.
Samson tried several times to jerk away from the police. He was arrested and charged with obstructing and public intoxication. He is currently out on bond.
