OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – UPDATE: Officials with the White Oak Rail Trail Expo have announced that the event will now continue as scheduled but in a different location.
According to the White Oak Rail Trail Expo Facebook page, the expo will be held on Main Street in Oak Hill instead of the Rail Trail after an agreement was made with the city.
Applications are no longer being accepted for the event as spaces are currently full.
The event will kick off on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 9 AM on Main Street in Oak Hill.

OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Oak Hill’s White Oak Rail Trail Expo, an annual one-day event held each June, has been canceled.
Event officials made the announcement today via the White Oak Rail Trail Expo Facebook page. Officials say that the event, scheduled for Saturday, June 3, has been canceled due to ongoing construction along the Rail Trail.
Emails will be sent to all registered vendors with information regarding refunds.

“It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing this year’s Rail Trail Expo is canceled. Due to construction on the Rail Trail and the logistics of finding another suitable location for the Expo.
Please know this wasn’t an easy decision to make. Many hours were spent trying to find a solution. Unfortunately, we feel this is the best decision.
We appreciate all of you so much. The Rail Trails construction should be completed by next year and we hope to have you all back next year.
