WILLIAMSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Per a news release from Mayor Charlie Hatfield, The City of Williamson is seeking a candidate for a part-time position to assist with the disposal of used tires. As was the case in 2022, this position is funded through a grant from the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
This grant allows the city to hire one or two positions at a wage at $12.00 per hour. At this time, the funding covers work for two Saturdays of each month.
A successful candidate will be responsible for gathering & documenting information and the lifting & loading of tires.
The job will be at the Williamson municipal water treatment plant.
