The Woodrow Wilson golf team took its first match of the season, shooting 119 as a team to beat Shady Spring and Oak Hill on the Cobb Course at Glade Springs.
The three lowest scores were tallied from each team for the total. Woodrow’s Ian Thompson shot a 46 while Zan Hill added a 37. Flying Eagle Jonah Wilson was the medalist on the day, shooting a 36.
As a team Shady came in second, scoring 124 while Oak Hill shot 131.
Tanner Vest led Shady with a low score of 39 while Jack Hayes paced the Red Devils with a 38.
Woodrow Wilson and Shady Spring will play another match on Wednesday on the Cobb Course and will be joined by Westside. The match will tee off at 4 p.m.
