Five years ago, The Glory Days Co. was inspired by a personal need. Six weeks after founder Amanda Cunningham’s daughter’s birth diagnosis, she was drowning in an enormous amount of appointments. As a result, Cunningham and her family would spend multiple hours at doctor’s appointments and with a therapist throughout the week.
Cunningham spent hours looking for organizational tools uniquely designed for caregivers, but unfortunately, there were none. So instead, Cunningham took a marker, drew charts on her living room windows to track their work, and used notebooks and planners to keep her on top of appointments and responsibilities. This somewhat convoluted system helped her feel like she could wrap her mind around their strenuous days.
A year later, Cunningham launched their first hardback Glory Days Daily planner. They quickly sold out their inventory of 500. Five years later, The Glory Days Co. is launching its 5th design and an expanded line of products.
The Glory Days Co. is a company dedicated to its community. They hire mothers of children with disabilities to design their covers, manage the community, and more. In addition, they seek individuals from the disability community for support, from copywriting to social media management. The Glory Days Co. has formed an exciting partnership with WorkAble Industries in Stonewood, WV, employing adults and teens with physical and intellectual disabilities to package its customer’s orders.
The Glory Days Co. never wants to turn away someone who needs its products. So the Glory Days Foundation launched in July 2019. The foundation is a registered 501C3 that donates hundreds of US planners to therapy centers, non-profits, hospitals, and more. Rory’s life has sent these resources worldwide to 1,000s making a lasting impact on our local disability community.
2.6 million families in the US are raising a child with a disability. The Glory Days Co. is the only organizational-based stationery company supporting them daily.
The 2021 New York Now Trade Show named The Glory Days Co. a finalist in the stationery division for Best New Product. You can now find their product online on Walmart.com and The Glory Days Co.
We operate with our community as the focus, believing long-term success is rooted in service. For more information, please contact Amanda Cunningham at info.roryblake@gmail.com.
