CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia State Fire Marshal‘s Office welcomed its newest recruit on Tuesday as new an Assistant Fire Marshal was brought into the ranks.
Anthony Beafore was sworn in Tuesday at the WVSFMO offices by Chief Kenneth E. Tyree. Beafore’s background includes electrical work and he will be joining as a member of the WVSFMO’s Inspections Division.
A native of Marion County, Beafore served as a campus police officer for Fairmont State University, and has served for nearly three decades as a firefighter with Monongah Volunteer Fire Department.
Outside of work, Beafore is the father of two sons and has been married to Lucretia Beafore for 24 years.
