MULLENS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Wyoming County Circuit Clerk was arrested over the weekend.
According to cour documents, Mullens Police was dispatched to Davis Street at 10:45 pm regarding a domestic battery case involving Michale Stover and his son.  When police arrived, they found the son in tears and advised that Michael Stover and himself drank some alcoholic beverages and got into a small argument.  Then he stated that his father then started choking him and went to the floor while he continued to choke him.
Police arrested Michael and secured the firearms in the home.
Michael’s son wrote a written statement that said, “I am tired of being choked. Â I was choked tonight by Michael Stover over nothing. Â We came home and was talking and ended up on the ground choked”.
Michael told police that “nothing even happened.”
