WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Allen Ray Adams, 50, of Pineville, WV, pled guilty and was convicted to one felony count of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) on February 7th, 2024. Adams will be sentenced on March 6th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
On April 7th, 2023, The West Virginia Southern Regional Drug Task Force along with members
of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office executed a Search Warrant at the residence of Allen
Adams. This Search Warrant was conducted pursuant, to numerous controlled buys on Allen
Adams during which Methamphetamine was purchased.
Josh Miller is an Assistant Wyoming County Prosecutor and worked as lead prosecutor in the
case. “While this guilty plea marks a significant victory, it also serves as a reminder that our work is far from over.” said Miller, “We will continue to be relentless in our efforts to dismantle drug networks and hold accountable those who choose to exploit our community for their personal gain. We will vigorously seek maximum penalties and rehabilitation for offenders, working hand in hand with the judicial system to protect Wyoming County and its residents.
