WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – A winning Powerball ticket worth $2 million was sold in West Virginia during Saturday night’s drawing, lottery officials said.
The winning numbers for the May 23, 2026 drawing were 4, 16, 41, 48, 66, with a Powerball of 26. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. Saturday’s jackpot was estimated at $132 million, with a cash value of $58.1 million.
Officials said the West Virginia ticket matched all five white ball numbers, missing only the Powerball. The ticket also included the Power Play option, doubling the original $1 million prize to $2 million.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot.
Lottery officials have not yet announced where in West Virginia the winning ticket was purchased.
