WAYNE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A 21-year-old Kentucky man died Monday in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 52 near Fort Gay, according to the West Virginia State Police.
Troopers from the Wayne Detachment responded to the crash near the intersection of Cedar Heights Road on May 11.
Investigators said a Toyota RAV4 driven by Braden N. Murry, 21, of Louisa, was traveling northbound on U.S. 52 when the vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a tractor trailer.
Murry was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified the tractor trailer driver as Christopher Keesee, 42, also of Louisa.
Authorities said he was not injured in the crash.
State police said Murry’s next of kin has been notified.
The investigation remains ongoing.
