According to a list of August winners from the West Virginia Lottery, a $300,000 scratch-off ticket was sold in Pineville.

The winning ticket, purchased for $30, was the Bonus VIP-Blowout-Club-Spin #1189, which was sold at the Pineville EZ Stop.
The winner has been identified as Jonathan C. by the West Virginia Lottery.
