(LOOTPRESS) – Since 2002, 7-Eleven has been celebrating its birthday on July 11 in a special way by offering customers a free Slurpee drink.
This tradition continues in 2024 as the convenience store giant celebrates its 97th birthday.
Now known as “Slurpee Day,” the celebration extends to all 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores.
Today, every customer will receive one free small Slurpee drink.
Additionally, customers who use 7REWARDS and Speedy Rewards at checkout will get an extra free small Slurpee drink, redeemable through July 31.
Founded in 1927 in Dallas, Texas, as an icehouse storefront, 7-Eleven has grown to become the world’s largest convenience retailer.
Initially known as Tote’m Stores until 1946, the company has a rich history of serving customers around the globe.
